Chairman Ulema Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi said that the negotiations held between Iran and US in Islamabad are an honour for Pakistan for which the counrty’s leadership played an important role. Tahir Ashrafi said that first US and Iran agreed to a ceasefire and then negotiations were held in Islamabad. He said that human responsibility is to make efforts and the results are in the hands of God. 

He added that the door for dialogue in Islamabad has been opened and this process will continue and asked the public to pray for better outcomes. He further said that the date of the “Almi Paigham-e-Islam Conference” has been changed and set for April 20. Scholars from various countries including Palestine, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye will participate in the conference.
