The district police arrested two suspects and recovered a large amount of foreign currency, one kilogram of silver, and five mobile phones during an operation on Daraban Road.  According to police spokesman, DSP Saddar Circle Kashif Sattar Khan, along with SHO Dera Town Khalid Javed Lashari, acting on a tip-off from an intelligence agency, intercepted a car bearing registration number (PAR-214).

The vehicle was found to be occupied by two individuals identified as Murtaza, son of Saadullah, a resident of Quetta, and Naqeebullah, son of Haji Faizullah, a resident of Chaman.  During the search, police recovered approximately 2.013 billion Iranian currency, along with one kilogram of silver and five mobile phones from the vehicle.

The suspects were taken into custody, and the recovered items were handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further legal proceedings.  The further investigation is underway to trace the network behind the smuggling attempt.
