In a strong endorsement for Pakistan football, FIFA Secretary General Matthias Grafström has expressed unwavering confidence in the leadership of Syed Mohsen Gilani, while commending the Pakistan Football Federation’s steady progress and reaffirming full support for the game’s development in the country.

The remarks came during a productive meeting held at the FIFA headquarters in Zurich, where both sides discussed key matters related to football development in Pakistan. The FIFA Secretary General congratulated the PFF President on the national women’s team’s impressive victory in the FIFA Women's Series. 

During the meeting, Gillani thanked the FIFA President and Secretary General for their continued and unwavering support towards Pakistan football. Discussions focused on strengthening football governance and prioritizing infrastructure development across the country.  The PFF President also presented a comprehensive report on the federation’s recent activities, initiatives, and progress made over the past few months.

FIFA acknowledged these efforts and reiterated that improving football infrastructure remains a key priority.  Reaffirming FIFA’s commitment, Matthias Grafström expressed optimism about the future of football in Pakistan and assured continued cooperation to further promote and develop the sport in the country.
