A charity donation ceremony celebrating the 75th anniversary of China-Pakistan diplomatic relations was held here at Anjuman Faizul Islam, a social welfare and academic democratic organization, where Chinese civil society groups delivered supplies to orphaned and underprivileged youth in Pakistan.

Under the theme “Gathering Love for China-Pakistan Friendship, Building People-to-People Bonds Through Youth,” a Chinese Cultural and Media company donated 1,050 pairs of peace-themed shoes and 500 T-shirts to local youth.

The Pakistan Fujian Chamber of Commerce contributed charitable supplies valued at 5 million Pakistani rupees, covering campus life and daily necessities for students and helping alleviate shortages of living materials among young people in the region, Gwadar Pro reported on Saturday.

The event was guided by the Cultural Office of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan and organized by the Pakistan Chinese Education Association and the China-Pakistan Youth Exchange Community with the support of multiple overseas Chinese associations, enterprises and charitable institutions.
