Logistics venture launched in Islamabad to boost regional connectivityBreaking

June 04, 2026

YTO-HRL Logistics, a China-Pakistan joint venture between YTO Express and HRL Group, was officially launched here following an MoU signed in Beijing last year.

The initiative aims to establish a modern, technology-driven logistics and supply chain platform connecting Pakistan with China, Central Asia, and wider international markets, Gwadar Pro reported.

Speaking on the occasion, Zeeshan Qureshi, Director of YTO, said the venture is not merely a courier service but a comprehensive logistics platform designed to transform trade flows.

He said it will offer ultra-fast cargo and freight services, bonded warehousing, AI-powered tracking systems, customs facilities, and end-to-end supply chain solutions for importers and exporters.

He added that the platform will reduce trade costs, strengthen cross-border commerce with China and beyond, and position Pakistan as a regional gateway to Central Asian markets.

Khalid Taimur Akram, who is currently hosting Chinese B2B investments in Pakistan, said the venture combines YTO Express’s global logistics expertise with HRL Group’s local infrastructure and market presence.

It is expected to enhance supply chain efficiency, support e-commerce growth, create skilled employment, and strengthen Pakistan’s position as a regional logistics hub.
