Pakistani and Chinese institutions signed 20 memorandums of understanding on education, vocational training and digital skills cooperation at a seminar in Hangzhou, organisers said, according to a Gwadar Pro's report.
The MoUs were signed during the China-Pakistan International TVET-Industrial Cooperation and Exchange Seminar, which brought together government officials, academic representatives, industry figures and technical education experts from the two countries.
The agreements involved Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Tang International Education Group and Chinese universities and vocational institutions, according to the organisers.
They cover cooperation in digital education, dual-degree programmes, technical training centres, research collaboration and industry-oriented skills development.
The event was held during Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s official visit to China from May 23 to 26, which coincided with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
