Medical experts advise light and balanced meals following Eid-ul-Adha family gatheringsتازترین

Medical experts on Friday called on people to regulate their eating patterns after Eid-ul-Adha concluded, recommending increased hydration and moderation in food intake to avoid stomach-related complications caused by overindulgence during the festive period.Renowned Medical expert Dr Fatima Abid, while speaking to ptv news channel, stressed that citizens should avoid excessive use of spices and oil while cooking meat, especially after Eid-ul-Adha when heavy meals and family gatherings are common.

She highlighted that over-spiced and oily food, often prepared for large family meet-ups, can put a strain on the digestive system, leading to discomfort and other health issues.Dr Fatima Abid also urged people to maintain proper hydration, emphasizing the importance of drinking plenty of water throughout the day to aid digestion and overall well-being, particularly during post-Eid family visits. She advised the public to eat in moderation and avoid overloading the stomach, noting that controlled meal portions can help prevent digestive problems after festive gatherings.

The health expert further recommended adopting balanced eating habits, including lighter and less oily preparations during family meet-ups, to reduce the risk of stomach upset and related complications. Dr Fatima Abid further advised the public to consume frozen meat within two days and avoid keeping it for longer periods to prevent health risks. She recommended moderation in eating, balanced meal preparations, and careful diet management to maintain good health after Eid-ul-Adha festivities and family get-togethers.
