“I have been facing severe online harassment from a PML-N MPA, says Momina Iqbal.” This is not just a statement; it carries immense pain, helplessness, and sorrow.

For years, audiences have admired Momina Iqbal for her brilliant performances on television. With hard work, talent, and dedication, she built a strong identity for herself in a very short time. But behind the lights, cameras, and success, she now claims to be fighting a painful battle that no woman should ever have to face.

According to her public statement, she has been facing severe online harassment, cyberbullying, mental torture, and even life threats allegedly from a political figure associated with Pakistan Muslim League (N). She revealed that despite repeatedly reporting the matter to the NCCIA, FIA, and Punjab Police, no meaningful action was taken.

What hurts even more is her claim that political influence became a shield for the accused instead of justice becoming a shield for the victim.

Momina stated that rather than supporting a fair investigation, attempts were allegedly made to suppress her voice. She further mentioned that individuals associated with the office of Maryam Nawaz discouraged the matter instead of allowing transparency and justice to prevail.

She says that she and her family continue to face serious threats to their safety.

Has justice become powerless in front of political influence?

Has harassing women become so easy that victims are now afraid to even speak?

She mentioned the accused as an MPA, name Saqib Chaddhar from Pakistan Muslim league N (PMLN).

The most heartbreaking part is that victims are forced into fear, while powerful people continue to walk freely.

Yet despite all this, Momina Iqbal chose courage over silence.

And perhaps that is why so many people across social media are supporting her today — because speaking against harassment in a society built on intimidation is itself an act of bravery.

And once again, society is reminded of a painful reality:

“Not all men, but always a man.”

The question is no longer whether harassment exists.

The real question is:

When will women finally feel safe enough to live, speak, and exist without fear?
