The personal life of former Pakistan cricketer Imad Wasim has recently come under intense public scrutiny after his former wife, Sannia Ashfaq, made a series of serious allegations on social media. Her statements surfaced shortly after Wasim announced his marriage to lawyer Nyla Raja, drawing widespread attention and sparking debate across online platforms.

In detailed Instagram posts, Sannia claimed that she experienced emotional and financial neglect during their marriage. She alleged that in December 2023, she was compelled to undergo an abortion in Lahore, describing the experience as deeply traumatic and not a decision made of her own free will. According to her, she felt isolated, overwhelmed, and unsupported, particularly during her pregnancy with their third child. She stated that despite repeatedly reaching out to Wasim during that period, she did not receive the assistance she needed.

Sannia also shared screenshots to support her claims and said that instead of reconciliation or support, she was served with a restraining order in a harassment case filed by her former husband. Presenting herself as someone speaking up for women who lack a public platform, she emphasized that her main priority is the well-being, dignity, and future of her three children.

In her posts, she appealed to senior officials, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi, urging them to take notice of the matter. She also called on representatives of Islamabad United to respond to the allegations responsibly. Stating that she is not motivated by revenge, Sannia said her goal is accountability and justice for herself and her children.
