Sialkot Express train has been officially restored after a 12-year hiatus, receiving a grand welcome upon its arrival at Sialkot Railway Station. Celebrations included traditional drum beats, dancing, and flower petals being showered on the train as it arrived. According to the Station Master, the Sialkot Express will operate between Lahore, Wazirabad, and Sialkot.

The route will cover travel from Lahore to Sialkot via Wazirabad and then back from Sialkot to Lahore. “The people of Sialkot have long demanded the restoration of this train service, and today their demand has finally been fulfilled,” the Station Master added.
